Our team is passionate about Australia and ensuring all Aussies have access to quality housing products at affordable prices and in a timely manner.

Our Commitment

Our mission is to make housing affordable and accessible to Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in urban, regional and remote communities. Our vision is to engage with Indigenous businesses to build housing using our products to create economic and employment opportunities. Through our pre-employment training, we facilitate the opportunity for a paradigm shift from welfare dependency to a financially independent life through meaningful employment.

Our Training Program

Arafura Building Systems also offer a suite of accredited training programs to employees. Standard pre-employment training is delivered by many individuals and organisations. As part of a commitment and outlook as an Indigenous owned and run company with believe that changing people’s life paradigm from dependency and disadvantage to economic and social independence requires a different approach and considerable skill.

We invest in our employees and partnerships and have proven capacity to facilitate these changes through programs such as Work Readiness and Job Skills and Construction. We deliver both accredited and non-accredited training with qualified and experienced trainers and facilitators.

Capability and Capacity

We support Indigenous building companies by facilitating access to our building materials, our architectural designs and environmental initiatives for homes. Our pre-employment accredited training program enables their staff to acquire the necessary skills in construction and to make the paradigm shift from a life dependent on welfare to a financially independent life through meaningful employment.
